Experiential Learning Programme (ELP)

Introduction:

Due to globalization and liberalization, the jurisdiction of marketing of agricultural products has been widened. Due this, Agricultural Business Management has assumed prime position in the welfare of the farming community. In this context, Agricultural Business Management Collage students of VIIth semester will be exposed to marketing organizations, Agro based industries, hi-tech agriculture, agronomical and horticultural crops, livestock, agro service centers, natural resource management, banks, etc.

The purpose of Experiential Learning at BBA (Agri.) degree is to provide an opportunity to the students to acquire practical management skills through working with different organizations to develop entrepreneurship. This will be helpful for developing confidence in students for solving problems related to agri-business and Agricultural marketing.

Objectives:

Duration: This programme will be offered during VIIth semester BBA (Agri.) students and will be for one full semester of twenty weeks.


In Plant Training Programme (IPT)

Introduction:

In view of Agreement on Agriculture (AoA), agricultural trade is opened for global marketing. Now, farmers are facing the challenges related to Agricultural Marketing and Agribusiness. Therefore, Agri-Business Management has assumed prime position in the welfare of the farming community. In this context, VIIIth semester students of Agri-Business Management Colleges are expected to expose themselves and get acquainted with the institutions / organizations and agro-based industries with in depth practical knowledge. In order to acquire this knowledge, students will undergo training programme entitled "In Plant Training".

  In Plant Training programme will be offered during VIIIth semester of B.B.A. (Agri.) degree programme and will be for one full semester of 20 weeks.
